Gcn1 基因表型（MGI）

Homozygous inactivation of this gene results in decreased embryo size, embryonic growth retardation, and complete lethality during organogenesis. Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele exhibit embryo turning defects, abnormal head shape, abnormally vascularized yolk sacs, and placentation defects, along with severe heart defects and an open cranial neural tube. Mice homozygous for a deletion of the RWD binding domain show mild embryonic growth retardation, perinatal lethality due to respiratory failure, and cell cycle and proliferation defects.
