Deup1 基因表型（MGI）

Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele are viable and grossly normal with no evidence of hydrocephalus but do not form deuterosomes in tracheal and ependymal cells. However, multiciliated cells lacking deuterosomes amplify the correct number of centrioles with normal stepwise kinetics through massive production of centrioles on the surface and in the vicinity of parent centrioles.
