Gfm1 基因表型（MGI）

Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele are embryonic lethal. Mice homozygous for the R671C missense mutation exhibit impaired mitochondrial translation and mild complex IV deficiency in the liver but grow normally, have normal OXPHOS activities in brain, skeletal muscle and heart, and do not display the motor dysfunction or encephalopathy observed in patients.
