Abhd15 基因表型（MGI）

Homozygous deletion of this gene results in reduced PDE3B protein levels and disrupted insulin regulation of lipolysis. Homozygotes for a knock-out allele show impaired insulin-mediated suppression of fatty acid release with concomitant reduction in glucose uptake and de novo lipogenesis and develop insulin resistance upon aging and dietary challenges. Independently generated knock-out lines show impaired insulin-mediated suppression of lipolysis, altered triglyceride levels in liver and brown adipose tissue upon beta-adrenergic receptor activation, but no defects in glucose metabolism or insulin secretion.
