Zg16 基因表型（MGI）

Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele exhibit increased bacterial penetrance into the inner mucus layer of the colon, increased bacterial loads in draining lymph nodes and the spleen and increased abdominal fat mass. Adult mice heterozygous for a different knock-out allele show increased total brain area in both sexes, and a male-specific increase in the area of the dorsal hippocampal commissure, anterior commissure, piriform cortex, arcuate nucleus, habenular nucleus, and hippocampal fimbria.
