Emc10 基因表型（MGI）

Mice homozygous for a gene trapped allele show improved glucose tolerance and reduced fertility in males, and an increased anxiety-related response in females. Homozygotes for a knock-out allele show female subfertility and male sterility associated with abnormal sperm morphology, oligozoospermia, asthenozoospermia, impaired capacitation and acrosome reaction, sperm incapacity to fertilize intact or ZP-free oocytes, and ion imbalance.
