Nullizygous mice exhibit embryonic lethality, small embryo, brain and limb bud size, variable eye defects, holoprosencephaly, and thin cerebral cortex with fewer cortical progenitors and post-mitotic neurons. Mutant MEFs form multiple centrioles, multipolar spindles, and supernumerary primary cilia.
