Mospd2 基因表型（MGI）

Mice homozygous for a knock-out allele show a lower frequency of inflammatory monocytes in the periphery, attenuated release of monocytes from the bone marrow to the circulation, and decreased susceptibility to experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis with less infiltration of monocytes and T cells into the CNS and restricted myelin damage. Activated T cells show reduced secretion of proinflammatory cytokines and increased production of interleukin IL-4.
